Clockmaker Commitment to Social Justice

What is social justice?

“Social justice is the view that everyone deserves equal economic, political and social rights and opportunities. Social workers aim to open the doors of access and opportunity for everyone, particularly those in greatest need.”
National Association of Social Workers

How Clockmaker Arts Commits to Social Justice

1. We will work towards a %50 representation of  BIPOC/ALANA artists, creators and collaborators.

2. At least one Clockmaker Arts show a year will donate a portion of its profits to a nonprofit for social justice.

3. We commit to continued education, healthy conversation and forward moving action towards social justice in everything we do.  This means that every show, every project, every engagement we will have social justice at the forefront of our minds and our work and dedicate ourselves as artists to grow humbly and courageously towards not only a more inclusive environment but dedicate ourselves and our work to helping to change the structure of society to help in the fight against systemic racism and all acts of discrimination through cultivating positive, compassionate and courageous action.
